Good point! The scene wasn't working for me and I've been trying to figure out all of the reasons. Very true that since Ashley has been saying in all of his interviews recently that Tiffany is his fiance, either consciously or subconsciously we knew the wedding wasn't going to happen... Plus, they gave that away in last week's preview of the episode.

I would have to say this was my least favorite episode. It seems like they must have edited out parts that would have contributed more to story continuity. For instance, I'm thinking that footage may have been shot that would explain what looked to be grease paint on Jacob and Janie. For that to suddenly appear on their faces without explanation looked bizarre. And since we knew that Ashley and Tiffany aren't married, the wedding chapel scene didn't work for me. I wish that the story editors would have come up with something else for the episode.

I agree with you, Lindsay. I understand that staging is involved for all of the show, but when someone puts their story together well and edits it well, it flows smoothly and the staging and editing isn't that noticeable. I guess it is like any good TV show or film. They're all written, staged and edited, but when they're well done by all involved, you are drawn into the story to the point that it feels real... you get caught up in it. Maybe they tried to throw too many sub-plots into this or something. I don't know. I didn't get as drawn in on this one.
