Who else is glad this is back on besides me that is? I have been looking forward to the start of this season for a couple weeks now. Who watched tonight? What did you guys think of some of the people that were on tonight? Personally, some of the people that they have shown have been really good and of course with the good always comes the bad and there was some really bad ones and I laughed at some of the judges' reactions too.

I left the show with only one emotion: I can't believe Constantine left Betty....they're SUCH an amazing group. He better go damn far on Idol...but then again if they try to turn him pop he'll run the other direction full force
 He's SUCH a sweetheart you guys (for those who don't know, he played Roger in RENT for a little while). All my friends have met/talked to him after Betty gigs and RENT and they just fall in love with him. I have to admit he's more rockstar than RENT star, but I have to show my love and support for a fellow RENThead and a GREATsinger. What he did tonight really did him no justice...Pray for the Soul of Betty That's the link to their site if anyone wants to hear more of him haha |

I didn't watch it all, because my mom controls the TV and we watched biggest loser, 30 minutes of AI and then Committed. However we taped it and will be watching it tomorrow afternoon
From who I saw, I really liked the guy that danced and then sang, I think his name was Travis? But I think I only saw auditions of 4 of 5 people who made it through.~Katie |

See the thing is...he'd be forced to conform to music today with it's pop undertones (lmao...made me think of overtones...maaaatt!! ) and Connie is SO so NOT pop And btw he does have a CD out with the group. The link's on the website...the songs are AMAZING and that's the real Constantine. Plus he loved that group with every ounce of his soul...I couldn't believe he'd do that to them haha. I'm with his bandmates on this one...I think AI is a little too uh, pop oriented in a way, for someone who totally rocks out like him |

I watched it! I thought it was pretty good, but it seems to be getting worse after every season. I think an hour would have be good, but 2 hours was too much. Oh, and I like Constantine. He was great.
I was also excited that they showed D.C. Finally a place near me. My best friend was going to try out, but it ended up being a horrible time for them, and she couldn't make it. She just turned 16, and was excited to try out. Her mom promised her next season she'll go wherever the tryouts are. Hopefully it will make it to the next season. ~Jamie

Pssst Constantine fans...it seems they worked everything out cause I got an email from Taylor (from Connie's group) and yeah they're still together
Thank God that's worked out...so now he can make it to number one and I'll be okay with that! ETA: Spoke to Constantine today too, and they're definitely together. I smell an Idol publicity stunt Although Hamboussi (drummer in their band) really, really hates idol

AI was a riot again tonight. Some of those people, I don't understand how they or their family or friends think they are all that especially when they have no talent to speak of. Simon when he broken down laughing made me crack up laughing as well.

I don't know why people's families would lie to them about their singing. I can see friends encouraging them to sing and audition because they want to see them suck on TV... but your family lying? Thats even worse!

Yah there were a lot of commercials tonight. And the Randy and Paula walking out thing was overhyped in my opinion because to me, it turned out to be less than I was excepting from all of the hype they gave it.

Yeah, I'm so glad there are more guys this season. There weren't any good ones at all last season, and I didn't really like last season that much. The season before that the guys were awesome, and it was my favorite one.
