I agree. I wonder if some of Scott's remarks, which struck me as somewhat cocky/arrogant, rubbed potential voters the wrong way and caused him to lose votes. Scott made comments indicating his confidence that he would make it through the competition... or least through to the next week. He sang part of his song directly to Simon... the part about others saying he can't make it, but he knew better. Then, during his conversation with Ryan, he made that comment about focusing on his song choice for the following week. I think that voters don't decide to call strictly on each contestant's performance of their song, but also on their overall charisma. I think that both are important for a performer of popular music. It probably wouldn't be such an issue if he were performing opera or something.
