The IO Crew discussed recent threads and came to the conclusion that saying someone "sucks" or is "crap", etc. is a violation of the No Bashing rule and is therefore not allowed on this board.
Posters are still welcome to share their negative opinions about somebody's musical talent, political savvy, fashion sense, etc. - we just expect that you will do so in a more articulate and eloquent fashion than simply saying it "sucks" or is "crap", etc. We are not banning the use of these words completely - it is fine to express that your day sucked or your headache is making you feel like crap. These terms fall within the boundaries of our PG-13 board. However, when used against another as an insult, they are unequivocally derogatory and therefore constitute bashing.
