Here are our rules for the posting of photographs on this message board. They will be strictly enforced, so please read and follow them. Thanks!
* Every photo, article, etc has an automatic copyright whether it is "tagged" or not. It is the exclusive property of the creator and legally can NOT be used by another without permission from the creator. This is key - even without tags, ALL photos are protected by copyright law
* Only the original creator can grant license to use copyrighted material. If IO has permission from a photographer to use the photographers photos on our site, and another site comes to an IO Crew member and says "Can I post those photos on my site?" and the IO Crew member says "Yes", this is still copyright infringement. Only the creator (photographer, author, etc) can grant permission and release copyright.
* All posted photos must not only be "sourced", but if direct copyright release can not be established from the photographer, then a *link* to the photos must be posted instead of the photos themselves.
